A crash on Osceola Parkway on Christmas Eve left a 51-year-old Kissimmee woman dead and another woman critically injured,
the Florida Highway Patrol reported.
Luisa M. Perez-Alamo was driving a Honda Civic west on Osceola Parkway near the intersection of State Road 417 at around
11:30 a.m. Dec. 24.
As she turned into a curve of the road, she drove into the median, overcorrected and lost control. The car went through
the median and into the eastbound lanes of the road.
Sarah Fox, 28, of Kissimmee was driving a Toyota four-door car east on the road when the Civic struck the left front side
of her vehicle. She suffered critical injuries and was transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center.
Perez-Alamo died at the scene of the crash. It is unknown whether she was wearing a seatbelt or inebriated at the time
of the crash, troopers reported. Her body was transported to the Orange-Osceola Medical Examiner's Office. |
