Marilyn Taylor was the State Director of Massachusetts and also served many years as a deputy. Marilyn was a great person
and a great leader. She was one person you would trust running the position of State Director. She leaves behind a husband,
Bill and many relatives.
"I enjoyed camping with Marliyn. She was a great person. Ever since we started going up to Spencer for the fall frolics,
I have known her. She would do every skit that they put on! I even remembered one time when PV8 did a skit (the YMCA one)
and she mispronounced some of the names. I also remembered having a fun time with her at a few of the teens events that I
was involved in. When the Spring Safari was up in Topsfield in 2004, she didn't recognized who I was, but when I told her
who I was, she let me in. At the 2005 Springfield RV Camping & Outdoor Show, I had a fun time with her and I took a few
pictures of her and she wondered when the pictures where coming. She never received them, unfortunally. Overall, Marilyn was
a great person. She did a great job as Mass. State Director. I enjoyed having her around and I speak for everyone in PV8 &
Canvasback 157 that Marilyn Taylor will be missed and may you rest in peace!" was written by me and will be published in the
April edition of Campfire Chatter.
